The Our Neighborhood Voices initiative team has just informed us
that the initiative will be ‘pivoting’ to 2024.
Palo Alto has been a superstar in all ways, but we need to ramp up the magic that is here to many more places in our state to make this successful. You can read the news release from Our Neighborhood Voices here.
The plan is NOT to pause – we are merely shifting from active signature gathering to some serious organizing so that when we start again, we will be ready and on the streets all across the Bay Area immediately! And hopefully COVID will be paused in the warmer months so many more folks can get out there and help.
We have a large war chest to start with as our donations stay in place, and professionals helping, so please let’s think about how to make the most of our contacts in our neighboring cities so that we can spread the love out in the region and state.
The signatures you have already collected are still important to us, please send me an email (LydiaKou@gmail.com) to let me know where I can pick up the petitions or stop by on
Sunday, February 20th at the California Avenue Farmers Market between 10:00am – 11:30am
to drop off the initiative petitions.
Join us On Wednesday, February 23, 7 p.m.
Anita Enander (Los Altos Mayor) and I will jointly host a Town Hall discussion for Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, and Palo Alto volunteers to discuss the next steps. We will be laser focused on what we must do to win in 2024. If you have been working in those cities, please plan to attend using the invite info below. Bring your experiences from the past 3 months and ideas for the future effort.

I am deeply grateful to everyone and cannot thank you enough for working together to take back our community and quality of life.
